How many hours is there in a day? 24 right! Right now those hours are blurred as I have been working frantically to merge web sites and building a completely different kind of site.

I think you will appreciate the effort once you see all the hard work. Rather than spending thousands of dollars on web development I have been laboring every spare minute to restructure the site so it fulfills the vision and motto “Keep it Simple” However in the mean time the official site has been sitting here lagging and I am sure the readers are wondering what is going on.

So I am taking a little break to post this and some stories I think are note worthy.

First - there is the “Life Hacker” blog that always has some of the best DIY ideas on the web. There focus is what works in the common world and they do a great job of it. They have proper funding and staff to keep it turning constantly. Feeding us surfers with everything from the best Tomatos to how to change your oil. So much content that I don’t have time to read it all as religiously as I use to. But today as I said I am taking a small break and there are several stories I want to pass on that I think everyone would enjoy.

As a self proclaimed geek I am always looking for ways to make my life a bit easier. When I built my home office I designed my own work station because I could not find any on the market the really suited my needs. And it has functioned well. Albeit I am always crowded for room with so many computers taking up valuable desk real-estate. Yea Yea I know one should have such a problem. But I work in IT and computers are my business. Without them I would not be writing this blog.

Today during my catching up I noted several articles that keep with the spirit. “How to build a dual monitor stand on the cheep” and the “Most Popular DIY Projects of 2009” You may find something that fits your back yard project without extra thinking.

For now that is the most I can muster. So stay tuned, as one day soon you will see all the labor come alive.

Have a great week!
